Thunder and the Thoughtful Brothers

(Click or touch a word to hear it read aloud!)

Thick thunder boomed in the sky.

It thrashed through the thistles by the hill.

Thump! Thump! Thump!

Theo and Thom looked through the window.

“Th is for thunder,” said Theo.

“Th is for thistle,” said Thom.

The sky was dark. The wind was strong.

But their mother was calm.

She smiled and said, “This storm will pass.”

Theo and Thom were thoughtful.

They helped their mother clean the room.

They bathed the dog and folded the mat.

“The other towel is there,” said Thom.

“Thank you,” said Theo.

“Th is for this and that,” said Mother.

“Th is for thank you!”

The thunder faded.

The sky turned blue.

The boys ran out to play in the thistles.

They laughed and said, “Th is a great day!”
